Still playing with the Go Wild papers for fun themed makes, this one’s ‘A Hoot’ it has owls!

Step By Step:

Mat 13.5cm square tree pattern Go Wild paper onto 14.5cm square of Brights Yellow card and then again onto the front of a Lilac card blank using d/s tape.

Decorate inside of card with a square of coordinating Go Wild paper.

Cut a tree trunk and branch shape from the wood grain Go Wild paper and adhere to card front with trunk shape flush with tree pattern paper panel.

Cut a strip of Go Wild paper and a strip of Brights Green card and create ‘grass’ fringing to fit across bottom of panel on card.  Chop into show of the grass tops before layering both strips of fringing along the bottom of the card panel using d/s tape along the bottom edge.

Cut out 2 Owls from the 12x12 Go Wild Pad and adhere to branch using 3D foam pads.

Die cut 4 large leaves from Brights Green card and add to branch using 3D foam pads.  Add a Simply Creative gold foil alpha letter to each leaf to spell out ‘hoot’

To finish, Die cut a little pennant from wood grain paper (or fish tail with scissors), adhere to top right on card front using 3D foam pads and top with a Simply Creative cork letter ‘A’

These go wild papers are great, super hoot card Angela

Thank you! :) x

Super card! xx

thank whoo!! :D

A lovely twit-twoo two-owls on a tree in a forest card. They are amazing creatures with a great deal of different symbolic meanings surrounding them (not just wisdom), or so I have read. Who couldn't like owls?

Thank Whoo!! :D love owls, love the real thing and the papercraft versions are very popular too :)

lovely card Angela. I love owls.xx

thank you, the Owl paper in this pad is really nice :)

I love this! It is a great card. I put off using this pad until yesterday and have also made a card with owls. I adore owls. I have owl ornaments, owl bag, even my key holder has owls on it.

Thanks May, it is a fab paper pad, I love the animal woodland theme and especially the owls, I know we both had a 'hoot' with our makes :D x
