This super quick card is inspired by the popular unicorn cakes.
This would make a perfect birthday card or make a set of them as invites for a unicorn themed party.
1. Take a 6"x6" pink card blank (kiss and Make up range) turn so the fold is on the top and trim so the width is 4.5".
2. Take a polka dot embossed card blank and trim so it is a few millimetres smaller than the card blank. Adhere to the card blank.
3. Create a thin triangle from silver glitter card (gold would also work well) and adhere to the top centre of the card.
4. Create two ears, I cut the shapes from white and pink card (using the pink card that was left from trimming the card blank) you could also use petal dies for the ear shapes if you have them. Bend the edges of the ear for a 3D effect and adhere either side of the unicorn horn.
5. Create the floral headband for the unicorn, have fun experimenting with different embellishments, I used paper flowers, resin flowers and sequins but you could also use buttons, die cut flowers etc to create different looks.
5. Create the eyes, I used black card and layered circle dies trimmed down to create my eye shape. I found some old false eyelashes and trimmed them to add to the eyes. You could also just draw the eyes and eyelashes using black pen
6. Create the cheeks. I used the pale pink watercolour Sugar Rush papers and die cut two small circles. Adhere to the bottom of the card.
7. Create a fishtail banner from vellum and a smaller banner from white glitter card and adhere to the bottom of the card.
8. Die cut "yay!" from silver card and adhere to the banner. Add sequins to finish
