The new First Edition Grand Plans papers are so funky, I love the music elements and sentiments on some of the papers and they are perfect for cutting out to create fun and coordinated cards. I used simple circle shapes to create this record shaped easel card, and have a little video here: https://youtu.be/83lX0af7-KQ
Step By Step
Create a Circle Easel card base from Dovecraft black card, I used approx. 11cm dia. circles.
Create a grooved record look to the front of the easel card by simply cutting graduating circles, ink the edges with white and black ink before adhering the circles onto each other to create the record effect.
Add a record ‘label’ by cutting out the ‘Keep Calm And Have Fun’ from the papers using a circle, ink the edges with black ink and mat onto a slightly larger circle of green Grand Plans paper, again inking edges with black ink. Adhere label to centre of ‘record.
Cover inside (base) of easel card with guitar pattern paper.
To create the stopper, cut a strip of guitar pattern paper approx. 2.5cm deep and adhere onto green pattern paper, so there is a green border top and bottom. Use 3D foam pads to mount the strip across card base and trim edges flush with circular sides of base.
Cut out a T Shirt image from the pattern papers and add to stopper at left hand side using 3D foam pads.
To finish, Cut out a ‘Rock Star’ sentiment, and add across top left of card front and a Guitar shape to lower right of card front.
I have a little video of the card here: https://youtu.be/83lX0af7-KQ
