winter woodland owl die HCXDI001

Scalloped circle die setFEDIE071

sentiment and gem from the monochrome goodie bagDCGDB006

The owl was die cut from a scrap of dull gold card, but any  mid brown  kraft card will do. the hat and branch were coloured with pens. Die cut the owl and colour it. Cut a scrap of dark brown card and stick behind the owl.

Trim a piece of striped paper to fit the card blank leaving a small border all round. Using this sheet of paper die cut the largest circle die and flip it over. Replace it into the paper and stick  to the card blank as seen.

Cut a circle from dotted paper using  the second largest circle die , mount in place and stick the owl in the centre.

Finish with the sentiment and gems as seen.

Nice card sweet owl 🦉

Thanks Irene. I've had the owl for ages. It was one of a set of trimcraft dies.

Aww, the owl is super cute wearing a nightcap!
