Hexi flower

over 60 minutes None easy Sewing Friendship

This little flower hexi project is perfect for some easy sewing or sewing with the kids! Just cut 7 hexi shapes all the same size, either trace around your shape or use a die or better still the cricut machine! Then using a fine thread ladder stitched the sides all together. I start with the center one and work off from that and then do the edges, but the Dovecraft felt is so butter soft and flexible it sits together lovely when pieced. The best bit is it does'nt fray so you just cut and sew! no edges to turn in! I added some contrasting runing stitches to the edge of the flower and appliqued to a little zipper purse but you can make card toppers or hanging decorations anything! an easy little project that you dont have to concentrate on too much but gives satisfaction! perefct for these strange times! x
