A page to celebrate the new year and decade in the only way we know how – on the sofa, under the duvet, watching movies!
I mostly used the Dovecraft 'Paper Posies' collection to create this layout.
I’ve been a bit clever with this title. I scanned in a sheet of the 12×12″ heart print paper, cropped so there was only one heart, increased the contrast, and uploaded it to Design Space. There’s a snazzy little tool that allows you to deselect areas of the design you want removed. With a little patience (and a lot of adjusting the tolerance), I was left with the heart and the cute little leaves and dots inside. It is originally a heart shape (future layout alert!), but for this one I used the contour tool to remove the heart outline and instead paste onto a circle and ‘slice’.
The rest of the layout is relatively simple – a grid of 4 3×4″ rectangles of patterned paper, with distressed edges and a splash of red.
