Quick and easy scrapbook layout using more of the aqua and teal tones from the 12x12 Free Spirit paper pad. The stripes paper is one of my favourite in the pad so I definitely wanted to use it as a backround. I fussy cut two border strips from this paper with a bit of a Japanese feel to it (not sure what you call this type of pattern!) then used a fineliner to scribble outlines around the pattern to make it stand out more. I matted my (jumbo size) photo of this Buddhist temple onto the foliage paper and inked round the edges. Next, I fussy cut some of the lotuses and arranged these along the bottom of the photo. I die cut and matted the Buddha using circle dies, then added a mix of golden thickers and die cut white alphas to create my title. Very simple but I think it looks quite striking!
