Thanks for looking. this DL card was made using acrylic paints on photo paper to create a dendritic background.
to make this type of background you need 2 quite large acrylic blocks or sheets of glass and a selection of acylic paints.
Paint strips of paint onto the base block, place the second block on top and press down firmly. Seperate the blocks. This can be quite hard to do but try to do it smoothly so there is surface tension. The patterns are created by the tension. Then lay a sheet of paper gently over the block, very gently smooth it onto the paint and peel it off. Both blocks should yeild at least one impression each.
Once it was dry it was stuck to a card base. The umbrella man is a Tim Holtz sizzix die, he is quite old now and has been a favourite since I first saw him. The get well die is from The Range. The black glitter card is from Hobbycraft. I added raindrops and a puddle using 3D clear gloss. They run from the Get well diecut but are hard to see on the pic.
