under 60 minutes Green moderate Card Making Friendship

I got the instructions and idea for this card from one that Crafty Blonde (aka Lyndsey) posted recently. She credits Smidget (aka Louise) so thanks to both ladies for the idea and instructions.

Items used

Sweet nothings pad FEPAD145

Doily die FEDIE164

Friends stamp DCSTP096

Dies   Rabbit DCDIE079, small butterflyDCDIE046

White cardstock DCBS65

Adhesives  DST  DCBS 04 and PVA glue DCBS72

Gems  Simply Creative SCDOT027

green cardstock FEPAD062

also used 2 sizes of hexagon dies from a large Sizzix set. and black 3D pearl effects.

For  the back cut a piece of white card to measure 19x14.5cm. score at 2,7,17 and 17cm.

For the front cut white card to measure 15x14.5cm and score at 5 and 10cm.

from white card cut a piece measuring 2x15cm. score every 3cm and fold into a cube and stick this. This will be used to hold the central sentiment  circle shape in place.

From matching sheets of paper cut   three panels measuring 4.5x14cm for the back, and the same for the front.

The 2 end panels on the back (measuring 2x14.5cm)  are for joining the back and front together. Before joining them stick all the panels in place. Cut an aperture using the smaller hexagon die. Join the back and front together.

Cut a frame from green card using both hexagon dies. Stick this in place.

Cut a doily from green card using the second largest die.

Cut another doily from white card using the next size down die. Stamp the greeting in pink ink onto this doily and mount onto the green doily.

Stick the white card cube to the back in the centre of the aperture and stick the green doily in place so it can be seen through the aperture.

Finish by die cutting two whire rabbits and some small butterflies in white, pink and green, add gems to the butterflies and stick in place as seen.  Add eyes and noses to the rabbits with 3d pearl effects or a black gel pen and stick in place.
