under 60 minutes None moderate Card Making Seasonal

Taking inspiration from the Card Shape of the month I've created this floating butterfly pop up card using the beautiful Wanderlust papers

  • Trim a piece of coloured card to 29cm x 12cm, score a line down at 14.5cm and fold in half to make card blank
  • Trim a piece of white card to 28cm x 10.5cm, score down at 2cm, 8cm & 14cm
  • Line up a circle die over the second score line and cut out
  • Fold the card into shape to create to pop up section
  • Trim a piece of acetate to 10cm x 5cm
  • Stick the acetate to the back of one of the cut out sections
  • Add the folded panel to the inside of the card blank
  • Trim a piece of paper to 10.5cm x 14cm and add to the top section of the card
  • Stamp a sentiment in the bottom section of the card
  • Trim a piece of paper to 11.5cm x 14cm and add to card front
  • Trim a band of paper to 3.5cm x 11.5cm, mat onto card and add to the front of the card
  • Die cut a circle, mat onto a doiley and add to card front
  • Die cut 4 large butterflies & 2 small
  • Add 1 large butterfly to the center of doiley
  • Add a large butterfly to the acetate in the cut out section, stick the smaller butterflies to the larger one so it looks like they are flying off
  • Decorate and embellsh the card as required
