First Christmas cards

over 60 minutes Green easy Card Making Christmas

I made the backgrounds with brushoes and distress oxide inks on watercolour card. I then stamped on the bauble stamp with black versafine ink and then matted this onto green card and stuck these onto 5" x 7" white card blanks. I cut out some red Christmas sentiments and matted them onto green card and attached, embellished the cards with gems to finish. x

Thank you, to be honest I wasn't happy with the brusho background so I just grabbed a red distress oxide ink and stamped it straight on the top turning it in different directions and then squirted it with water and left it. When I came back it had spread out and had made a lovely effect on the watercolour card, so these were a bit of a fluke!!! x

Thank you, me too. If I don't have a lot of time I just have a 10 minute play with inks and water and then leave them to dry and see what happens, these ones turned out well. x
