This funky chicken is easier than you may think! there is a wonderful tutorial on Youtube if you search Debbie Shore funky chicken. But if you are in a hurry here's a few tips! Cut 2 x 8" square of yellow fabric for the body but you can make it smaller or bigger! then i cut templates in paper for the wings, feather tail, beak and wattle! Next cut all the bits in red felt (i did use brown for my wings!) Sew the wings on each side of the body just across the top of wach wing so they can still flap! Attach all the other bits to the fabric remembering to line up raw edges and with the bits pointing inwards towards fabric. Place the other side of the body ie the other yellow square on top right side together. Sew around edges but leave the side opposite the beak half sewen for turning. Turn to rightside and pull the side corner to corner to create the shape of the chick and then stuff! Hand sew the side seam gap when stuffed! Finally sew the chick some little eyes on or use your Nova fabric markers!
