I’ve used the stylish V & A Collection to create this Birthday card, the soft pink card base and white elements give a lovely contrast against the red, white and blue colours.

How To:

Die cut 4 squares of V & A floral pattern paper approx. 50mm square, layer onto larger squares of navy cardstock approx. 60mm square.

Arrange the 4 squares onto front of 5x7 soft pink V & A card blank.  Adhere 2 squares towards top and 2 towards bottom on card front, leaving section across the centre clear.

Cut V & A cream & red pattern paper approx. 122mm x 35mm and mat onto a strip of navy card approx. 40mm deep.  Wrap with the V & A ‘with love’ ribbon and secure ends on back of strip.  Adhere panel onto space across centre of card front using 3D foam pads to give height.

Using navy blue ink, stamp the V & A ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment onto white card, cut out when ink is dry and round corners.  Mat onto slightly larger navy blue card, and add to card front on centre panel.

To finish, Die cut 3 leafy stems from white card using the FE Foliage Die set.  Layer a red and a pink V & A paper blossom using a Pearl Brad through the centre.  Arrange and adhere the leaves and flower to right of stamped sentiment.  Create a matching insert for the card by adding a strip of paper to match the card front.
