I wanted to create a layout showcasing lots of the beautiful patterns from the 'Bloom and Wonder' paper pad; I used 10 papers in total. The floral papers are just perfect for spring/summer and nature photos.
I firstly took a piece of white cardstock, and used some coral ink to create a mixed media background, using splatters and mixing with water to dab it onto the page. The focus of the layout is the BEAUTIFUL cut-file, for which I selected several papers in pinks and greens, traced round the letters and cut these out, gluing them to the back of the file. I cut a panel from the bright pink paper and placed this down the right hand side of the page, bordered with a strip of green washi tape, to serve as a base for my little photos. I glued cardboard to the back of the cut-file to raise this off the page and create more dimension, then I finished with some ephemera and flat-back pearls. I also die-cut the words 'Spetchley Park Gardens' - where the photos were taken - using two types of alpha dies and stuck these as a continuation of the title.
Thanks for looking x
