New to me
I'm not much of a scrapbooker as you all probably know, but SU are releasing their MDS (digital software) programme in the UK very soon and demos have been able to get our hands on it to have a play and prepare some sneaky peeks to share. I'm not much for digital crafting either (I'm a bit of a digital dunce really ) but have to say I love this and had such fun... I at least made some fun use of a few photos that have been languishing on my pc. Have uploaded my first ever digital layouts to my gallery...if you get time to have a peek , I would love to know what you think Cheers  Cxx

Been and left a comment. You have had a great playtime. Janet xx
Life is what you make it, you only have one, so make it a good one and most of all enjoy it.

Re: New to me
How easy is it to add your own digi crafting stuff and use? The programs I've seen previously seem geared to using their own kits, rather than what you already own, and since I have a ton of digi scrapping stuff that I really should make better use of... Also, is there any restrictions on installing on multiple computers?

[/quote:2ut3rszw] I'm afraid I have no idea about adding other stuff but I will find out. The free trial version is definitely restricted use but I guess it would be one way of checking to see if it works for you and with your existing stuff..although if you have digi progs already and don't use them maybe you don't really need another one  ...Except of course that this one comes with SU images and sentiments and works in png, jpeg and svg formats.... Of course this is all a bit previous ;) and Demos have only had access to it for a couple of days and we are just playing to see what it/we can do. There will lots more information closer to the release date..I was only sharing my play-abouts with my Trimmie friends.

Re: New to me
I saw it on FB Christa. It looks great. I thought you'd get hooked lol I have downloaded the software but haven't installed it yet. Although its a time limited version I know I've already wasted a few days but I'm bound to buy the full version. It's not just for scrapbooking. Just think of mixed media cards stamped images enlarged, being able to create your own posters etc all in the same coordinating colours that SU have. I never thought I'd be interested in the software but after seeing such fab results and seeing some artwork signs by my friend Zoe at the sincerely yours craft fare, i was we'll impressed with what I have seen so far. Just hope I get a chance to produce the same quality. Xx

Re: New to me
Rozzy I have done several layouts, a few cards, some class flyers and business cards as well as labels and other bits and bobs... but the possibilities seem endless... It still won't take the place of stamping and inking and sticking but it certainly adds another dimension to the creative possibilities...and I can't believe how easy it is to use... If I can figure it out anyone can

Re: New to me
Just thought I'd give you an update...MDS is now live and you can download the free trial version from the online store. It is absolutely free and there is zero commitment to buy the full version - which is £13.95 . There is (and will be ongoing)additional content available to purchase too.... but I am not trying to sell anything to anyone...the free version is absolutely free and you can get it here [url:3q0uosop]http://www2.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemList.aspx?categoryid=1792[/url:3q0uosop] If you do try it I would love to know what you think...

[/quote:35jydwcw] The free trial version is valid for 30 days form the day you download it so I would recommend downloading it when you have time to play with it. I have never got on with digital scrapping or card making and I gave away the cd roms I had because I hated them...but this is so simple even I can use it  and with a free trial there is nothing at all to lose ;) Look forward to hearing what you think of it...
