Jam making factory!!
Well, I've been busy making jam over the past couple of weeks!!! I was given a shed load of apples, and a shed load of rhubarb, and so I got jam making!!! Made quite a few different flavours:- jam1.jpg[/attachment:e26vsuut] jam 2.jpg[/attachment:e26vsuut] jam 3.jpg[/attachment:e26vsuut] But now I'm running out of jam jars and I still have Rhubarb jam, pineapple jam to make!!!!!

Re: Jam making factory!!
My favourite jam is rhubarb and ginger. My Granny used to make lots of jams and jellies and swap some with her friend who made different flavours. So we always had lots of great jams. my dad used to take us kids brambling to get the fruit for her, and we'd also gather crab apples for jelly. I only make a few jars of raspberry jam nowadays. Dave loves it, but too much is bad for him as he has type1 diabetes. Yours look wonderful and the flavours make my mouth water. :D

Re: Jam making factory!!
I've just made 15 jars of Rhubarb jam! It's very easy to make - I dont use a thermometer. I'll put a recipe on here when I get a chance!

Re: Jam making factory!!
The one and only jam I've ever made so far is rhubarb, orange and blueberry. It's very tasty and easy (I'm happy to share the recipe if anybody wants it). Still got lots of rhubarb left, so will be progressing to rhubarb and fig tomorrow. Wish me luck...
