Lets get going with the parching

Hi all, we have a few off us on the forum who parch now, would it be worth us all getting our heads together and decide a monthly theme ( a bit like the challenges) so that we can all have a go at making at least one piece a month.  Those of us with experience could help anyone needing it to get started.

What do you all think?

Lynn

It's worth a try Lynn. GrandmaJenny parches and Sylvia has just won some Groovi stuff. Diana I know does parchment craft.

RE:Lets get going with the parching

Hi Lynn.I have not got into the parching,it all looks so brilliant but I think I should stick with the papercraft stash I have rather than buy anything to try a new technique.I shall however take interest in all that is made by our talented ladies.

RE:Lets get going with the parching

Thank you Adrienne, I bet you have a ball tool though and a pokey tool so you could have a rough go at a parchment piece.  You can always use a mouse mat or stamping mat for embossing. I do realise not everyone wants to try every discipline but at least you are backing us xx

RE:Lets get going with the parching

If you are all happy with it will have something posted for February, won't be a challenge as such but more of a try at getting a piece done with advice if needed.

RE:Lets get going with the parching

Looking forward to what you might post and anything that will encourage on the parching side of papercrafting. I keep meaning to do a bit more anyway. At the moment I have a piece that needs mounting and I just can't decide yet what colour backing to use.

RE:Lets get going with the parching

Good luck with this ladies. I am looking forward to seeing your makes.  I will be on the side watching.  I am not planning to start patching until our summer trip..I am going to take a kit with me....whether or not I start it is a different matter.

I shall be watching and observing your talents.
