Re: What are you making?
I have just finished my Pinflair fabric Christmas tree. I started it 2 years ago at a Pinflair class. It's just fabric, card and glue, but it has taken awhile just the same. Glad it's done..now to fill it with choccy treats
I really appreciate all your lovely comments on my projects. Your feedback is very important to me.

Re: What are you making?
Hi all Well, I bet you are so pleased to tick off the Pinflair christmas tree from your 'things to do/finish' I finished my latest pair of socks at the beginning of the week, and have now started the Storm Trooper Beanie for one of my grandsons. The only thing is, I have a sneaky feeling that it may not stretch enough for his head. Not to worry though, because if it doesn't fit him, it will fit our youngest grandson. It is knit using DK yarn, but says to knit on (old No 11s and 12s), sorry, can't remember the new guage...I still work in old money   Anyway let's see. If it does knit up small then I will just change to bigger needles. I took the knitting to the knit and natter group on Tuesday, but to be honest, I couldn't concentrate enough to follow the pattern so ended up only doing about 3 rows...plenty of talking took place though. I have also been thinking about making some more cushion covers for our living rooms. I went shopping the other day and bought some nice rectangular cushion inserts for the cushions, so will need to plan a day for the sewing. Will post a picture of the finished beanie...big enough or too small. Angela

Re: What are you making?
Just on our way to the first of the birthday parties! Could do with a kip though to be honest... Puppy got us up at 4:30am to do a pee so feeling a bit groggy now! Shouldn't grumble though at least she told us. Finished the beanie last night.... Guess what???? It's so small I reckon it would fit a 3 year old. I've changed needles to no 10s and just cast on and done the rib at the bottom... Don't know why I didn't notice sooner that it was going to be small!!!! Got to go now... Bowling here we come!!!

Re: What are you making?
Aww Angela :( :( :( :( Isnt it A Horrid feeling.... I know As I started The New Pattern in the New Bought wool.... And Guess what... Its Not going to work ... The Pattern is for Animal wool What Is a Super Chunky It says so on the wool bind Label..(ive used it before) So I thought This wool Would Do it Too as The Ball Band Label Says Super Chunky.. too... :( :( :( But Nope.. Its Definitely Not the same Thickness... Even though Its the same Make :o I even Done a Square Test with it .. :( :( :( And Nope its not going to work.. :( :( :( Oh well The New Wool Will be put on "The Back Boiler" Till I find a Different pattern (Ive probably got one In my stash of Patterns Truth be known.  ) So for me Its Back to the Cardi Im doing.. Done the Back and Ive started the Left Front....   (Its the one I want to finish Before I use the Green Wool Ive bought )... I know Im Hopeless.... Its Like a Drug... I must buy more wool and patterns       oh well It keeps my hands Busy when the Light fades and I cant do "Other crafts" and theres only "Drivel" on the Tv to watch...

Re: What are you making?
I've just finished my third preemie baby blanket so will probably make a hat as well as there's lots of leftover wool. Then I really need to put the knitting on one side for a while and concentrate on Christmas stuff! Having said that, I started one of those potato chip scarves so I at least have a bit of knitting I can do in the evening when it's too dark to craft :D
So much to craft, so little time

Re: What are you making?
I am knitting a top for my Granddaughter, the girls do a little show at Christmas for their parents and Casey wanted a pink top and I had the right pink in my knitting box. It is just two squares and then I will sew it up with arm and neck holes I don't do patterns. x
