Cyndi, our cat loves catnip. In fact last weekend I bought her a catnip mouse from the craft fair we went to. Unfortunately she hasn't played with it much as our puppy keeps getting it and running away with it.
I don't know what a potato chip scarf is..but it sounds interesting
. Re spending that bit more on the wool to knit for yourself..well we all deserve a treat from time to time.
Irene, the tree decorations are lovely. I'm not sure what our puppy will make of a christmas tree...I can just imagine!!! I bet she will think that all the lovely baubles are for her to play with, and pull on one and the tree comes tumbling down. We never had a problem with the cat...she ignores it. The puppy is definitely more impish
Here's a picture of the simple granny blanket and pillow that I have just finished for our grand-daughter. I have made it for this rocking cradle that I picked up in a charity shop for £3...too good to miss. We will be seeing her soon as we are going to her 4th birthday party in a couple of weeks. It's not for her birthday, as we have bought her clothes, with her birthday being so close to Christmas. However, I am sure she will have fun playing with the cradle.
I wasn't sure how to make a small pillow doing the squares, so ended up just doing the pillow like that! I think she will like the finished product though...she won't be looking for mistakes (at 4 year old, I hope not)
Anyone else on with anything? I would love to see!
