Had a nice time at Ally Pally meeting Trimmies... said I wasn't going to buy anything but was totally led astray Anni and I decided to split a papers offer and we each selected the required number for the better deal and we paid and the nice man asked would we like two bags and we said yes please and we each took the one he handed us...and we are clearly as daft as each other because neither of us thought to check Not sure Anni will be so thrilled when she gets home and finds she has my selection and not hers At least we chose from the same range of designs... It was lovely to meet Nannybroomsticks for the first time and to see Lynn, Anni, Jackie (and her daughter) and Toni and Emily again... I was only there for a few hours today but I suspect some serious shopping has taken place... In my couple of hours I got (Anni's) papers , some adhesive, plain white base cardstock, a 4th dimension stamp (because I was wowed by a sample on display), assorted mdf and chipboard goodies (my biggest spend) and a pack of Art parts art blackout film which I bought after watching Leonie playing with it... I blame Lynn for making me buy the cardstock and SAnni for the papers of course but the rest...well that was just my own fault for being easily led Hubby was outside waiting when it closed and I was home by 4.20pm which is good because the weather is foul today... Hope everyone else has had a great Sunday...

sounds like a perfect day, apart from the paper mess up, but isn't the buying all part of the fun of crafting too glad you all had such a lovely time. if only it wasn't so far away. I haven't met up with many trimmies in ages I'm intrigued by the black film stuff, I wonder if it was something I ought but just in plain A4 sheets. I wanted to go to a demo at John Channon's shop but couldn't make it and I have no idea what to do with it. maybe reading some instructions would be a start but I hate instructions! have fun playing. hope to hear what the rest of you all bought too xx

Glad you had a good day. Hope you and Anni like each others papers Would love to go but it is too far for me, will have to make do with Exeter next week. Thinking ahead, if I get some time booked off from work and a cheap hotel nearby I could make it one year Now who knows the dates for next year??

Pam I'm not sure of the dates, but last year when myself and Elke went, we got cheap train tickets, bargain hotel and then the tickets for the show, it was a brill weekend and will be doing it again next year. Sylvia xx

Had a great time and loved meeting up. Not unpacked yet but Emily has got all the basics she needs for all her christmas presents and I made her buy her own stash (in the hope she will value it more).I'm hoping she might let me use it too. Spent too much but I hope I haven't bought anything silly. I'm sad to say I still haven't open the distress inks I bought at the April show. Toni x
