How to Make

1.  With your laser printer, print the Halloween design in black onto a sheet of First Edition Textured black card. Printing on this card will help you achieve a cool distressed look on your door hanging. Make sure the printer is set to the maximum ink coverage setting.

TIP: You can resize the design for different purposes. You could make this printable smaller to use for a Halloween party invite!

2.  Cut a section of green First Edition foil to cover the ‘Halloween Party’ sentiment. Cut a strip of silver First Edition foil to cover the ghost design.  Layer the foil on top of your design and then cover with a piece of plain white A4 paper so you cannot see any foil.

TIP: Ensure that when placing your foil down, that the colour side is facing up.

3.  Switch on your First Edition Foil Applicator and wait until the green light is on. Carefully pass the design through the machine.

TIP: You do not need to push the design through the machine as it will feed through automatically.

4. Once the paper has passed through to the other side of the machine, remove the A4 paper and slowly peel the foil back to reveal your foil design.

TIP: Save the peel off sheet as you can use this for other spooky crafting projects.

5. Cut out your foil design and cut a piece of Dovecraft green glitter card in the same shape ensuring that its approximately a 1cm bigger than your printable to allow room for a border.

6. Add strips of Dovecraft Perma Fix tape to the back of your foil design and adhere it to the centre of your glitter card.

7. Use the Fiskars Flower Punch to create two holes at the top of your door hanging. Ensure to spread out your holes along the top edge.

8. Cut a length of Helz Cuppleditch Dear Santa organza ribbon and tie it in the first hole and then the second hole. Make sure it’s secure and your door hanging is ready to use!

This spooky decoration is so easy to make and will be a fantastic way of directing your friends into your Halloween party!
