What you Need

First Edition 12 x 12 Pick n Mix Paper Pad, Textured Card Stock

Dovecraft A4 Silver Mirror Card

Simply Creative Alphabet & Number Stickers- Cork Circles, Classic Foil Silver

How to Make

1.  Choose a sheet from your First Edition Pick n’ Mix 12x12 paper pad to work on. Next, cut 4, 3cm x 27cm strips of coordinating Pick n’ Mix paper. Arrange them on your sheet and once your happy with it, stick each piece down with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape.

2.  Create the large pencil design by cutting an 18cn x 8cm piece of yellow Pick n’ Mix paper. Next, cut a 8cm x 7.5cm triangle from the cream card in the First Edition Textured card stock pad. Along the base, cut a wavy line to create the look of a wooden pencil. Glue this to one end of your yellow rectangle.

3.  Cut a small triangle from the black card within the First Edition Textured card pad to be the lead. Stick this on the bottom of the pencil with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape.

4.  Cut a 2.5cm x 10cm piece of Dovecraft Silver Mirror card, turn it over and score a vertical line at every 5mm measurement.

5.  Create the rubber by cutting a 4cm x 10cm piece of red First Edition Textured card stock. Round the top left corner and the top right corners. Stick your mirror card along the bottom edge of the rubber. Stick the rubber to the top of your pencil and adhere your  finished pencil design toward the right hand side of your layout.

6.  To create the notebook section, cut an 8cm x 18.5cm piece of coordinating Pick n’ Mix paper.

7.  To make the pages, begin by cutting a 6cm x 8cm piece of Pick n’ Mix paper, measuring down 1cm from the top and scoring a horizontal line.

8.  Repeat another 3 times, making each piece 5mm longer than the previous page. Add a piece of Dovecraft Perma Fix tape on the back of your score line of the shortest piece and adhere it to the top of your vertical strip.

9.  Repeat this by sticking each page underneath the one previous to it. Cut a 6cm x 10.5cm piece of Pick n’ mix paper and stick it under your page flaps, this piece does not need to be scored.

10.  Print your chosen titles for each page on plain A4 white paper, cut and stick down to each page of the note book.

11.  Cut small semi circles from a coordinating piece of Pick n’ Mix paper and adhere them with glue to each page of your notebook. Glue your finished note book vertically, towards the left hand side of the layout.

12.  Print out a 7cm x 12cm photo and adhere with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape to the centre of your pencil.

13.  Using the Simply Creative Classic Foil Silver Alphabet stickers, adhere the words, Back to School to the top right and three stars in the bottom right hand corner.

14.  Finish by using the Simply Creative Cork Circles Alphabet stickers and adhering the letters, ‘A, B, C’ to the bottom of your layout.
