As we head into the spookiest month of the year we thought we'd bring back this fab article! Read on to find out how to give your pumpkins a colourful and classy finish...
Add your personal style and taste to your pumpkin decorating, there are no rules when it comes to crafting so grab all your embellishments and have a go, we have 3 ideas below to get you started.
You will Need:
- Pumpkins
- Deco art Chalky Finish paint
- Deco art chalkboard paint
- Dovecraft glitter glue & pearl effect pens
- Dovecraft chalk pens
- First Edition Deco Mache glue & Halloween decoupage papers
- Sequins

Spiders Web Pumpkin
Paint the pumpkin white and allow to dry, you may need two coats of paint. Take the spiders web decoupage paper and cut out around 14 cobwebs. Paint the pumpkin with Deco Mache glue, evenly space the papers and glue down. Glue sequins in groups of three in between the cobwebs.

Glitter Pumpkin
Paint the pumpkin white and allow to dry, draw swirls on with the glitter glue and pearl pens, you can do this free hand, with a stencil or by drawing on them first. Use Pearl pens to add dots around the swirls. Cover the pumpkin stalk with silver glitter paint.

Chalk Board Pumpkin
Paint the pumpkin with black chalkboard paint and allow to dry, draw a pattern on the pumpkin using the chalk pens, start at the top working your way down the pumpkin. Our design was inspired by the day of the dead festival.
