It was such a difficult decision choosing our Design Team with so many amazing applicants but we hope you’ll enjoy seeing these lovely crafters on the blog with their unique styles!
Hello, I’m Angela (aka Pollypurplehorse), I’m absolutely thrilled to be starting my 3rd year with the Trimcraft Design Team. I’m a mum of 2 (Ellie & Joshua) and have been living ‘at the seaside’ with my family for the last 15 years. I’m a passionate paper crafter and love to spend my days creating and sharing my ideas. I have been paper crafting for about 20 years, but since redundancy my passion has become a way of life. It’s something I really enjoy and never tire of, there is always something new and exciting to play with, and you never stop learning. I am inspired by pretty papers (especially First Edition), songs and everyday themes, as well as the sea and the park where I live. I share my projects and tutorials here in the Trimcraft Gallery, on my blog, twitter, Instagram and facebook pages.

I am Christine Bilyard I am 34 years old and live with my partner John and two cute but naughty lion head rabbits in East Anglia. I work full time in an office and love to craft in my spare time. I do like to cross stitch and have recently started paper cutting. My main craft is card making which I have been doing for about three years now. I was a runner up in the National Card maker Competition 2015 which really boosted my confidence. I love to create unique cards and to experiment with different techniques. I am so thrilled to have been chosen to be part of the Trimcraft design team and I am really excited to share my makes with you.

My name is Emily and I'm a 22 year old digital media student from Doncaster. I'm a card maker, scrapbooker and I like to include stitching and lots of layers in my projects to build up depth and texture. I love to try out new techniques and use products in ways that aren't immediately obvious. Outside of papercraft, I enjoy drawing, photography, natural history and animated films.

I’m Emma, I am a craft blogger at www.theseglitteryhands.com and own a craft supplies subscription box-The Glittery Hands Box. I adore crafting, making, up-cycling and adding glitter to anything and everything I can find. I love Cats, Pineapples, Sequins, Sausage dogs and will never say no to pizza or mexican food! If i am not dancing around the house ( I used to be a professional dancer before I started living the Craft life!) I can be found wielding a glue gun, with accidental glitter on my face. I like making fun on-trend makes, anything from Glittery cat ears and Sassy garlands to Scrapbooking and Cute Homeware DIY’s.

My name is Lyndsey; I am 38 years old and live with my hubby Richard and our 2 fabulous kids Oliver (15) & Abigail (10) in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. Many years ago I was into cross stitch and made quite a few as presents for people but started dabbling in card making when Oliver was little after seeing some handmade cards at a craft show and fancied having a go myself. When Abigail was born she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, I gave up my job to stay at home and be her carer and that's when my card-making really took off as I had all this time on my hands. I have been doing the classes now since November 2009 and currently teach 4 classes a week from home to a fabulous bunch of ladies, where we create a varied selection of cards and 3D projects. I love being able to share my ideas and know how with others and love the fact that with just a little help and instruction a total beginner can come away a fabulous creation and then also have the confidence to try it themselves at home.

My name is Manuela Navarro. I have been an artisan since 2004, I design and sell cards for events and work professionally with big "Wedding Planner" companies. I have run Scrapbooking workshops since 2007 in Spain. My style has changed as I have learnt different techniques and discovered new paper brands, but always, as my blog's name shows, my crafts are made with a piece of my heart. ‘Feeling’ is an important theme that I like to include in each scrapbook layout. My crafting style has evolved, combining a "Shabby" and "Clean" look in a very unique way which I feel, defines me.
Most of my works include a white background because I love that sensation of beginning a piece of art like a writer with a new book. However, I’m a curious mind and I like to experience new things in my job. Nowadays I am a demonstrator of Stix2 and WOW! in Spain, and since May of 2015, I am author and editor of the online "Cards&Friends" Magazine. I am very happy to be a part of this big team.

Hi my name is Maxine I'm married with two grown up children. I've been a crafter from a very young age, as a child I loved making clothes for my dolls, drawing and colouring. As an adult I continued crafting trying many different crafts, cross stitch, silk painting, mosaic and many more. After buying a card making magazine, paper craft became my passion. I like to try different styles and techniques in my crafting and go through different phases so I would say my style changes. I love stamping, die cutting and trying anything new. My favourite products are Trimcraft First Edition paper pads, the colour combinations and designs are always beautiful and so easy to create with. The Dovecraft collections and the Dovecraft dies are another favourite, as these have everything co ordinated and ready for you to be creative. My other hobbies are cooking, baking, keep fit, walking and reading. I'm very lucky to work for Trimcraft as their craft coordinator. My job role is to make card samples and projects for the Trimcraft blog, social media, Trimcraft customers and craft magazine features. I also test new craft products and help the marketing team.

I am sixty five and retired, married to Dave for forty five years. We have a son, a daughter and a grandson who has just started University. I was born and raised in Ayrshire but left to marry at nineteen. Dave was in the RAF and we moved around for ten years then decided to settle in Lincoln to give our children a settled education. We both love Lincoln and have been here thirty five years.
I have always done crafts. We were taught to knit and sew in primary school and my Mum taught me to crochet around the same time. I still enjoy all three and am knitting baby clothes for a niece at present. I used to enjoy drawing and painting and love using watercolours. I cheat and stamp images nowadays rather than draw them. I also like to read and have loads of books and a Kindle. I read anything from Historical novels to Sci-fi and thrillers .
It would be hard to say what my style was as I like to try new ideas and experiment with die cutting, stamping and colouring. I enjoy all aspects of papercrafting from making cards and scrapbooking to making mini albums and altering items. An example is taking dud CDs and turning them into mini albums using a cropadile to make holes for binding rings.
I enjoy spending time on the Trimcraft forum and have made some good friends through it and Facebook. Being chosen for the DT is a huge compliment and I am very much looking forward to the coming year.

Hi, I'm Michelle aka Chunka, a self-confessed box altering, scrapbooking, mini book making and general paper crafting addict. It all started some 10 years ago when my then boyfriend, now husband, bought me a surprise box of scrapping goodies and the addiction began....yet he still married me! I publish my creations and weekly layout sketches on my blog Scrapthology, as well as on my Pinterest board of the same name. You may also have seen a few of my projects in magazines, trade publications and on some online craft galleries. I’m a lover of all things bling and live by the mantra ‘when in doubt, stick some glitter on it’, it works for me!

My name is Victoria and I have been happily married for 26 years to my lovely hubby Steve. I have two grown up children, George aged 22 and Rebecca 20 with 3 adorable fur babies…2 dogs and one gorgeous cat. I started card making around 10 yrs ago when I bought my daughter a card making kit. Sadly my daughter wasn't so keen but I was hooked straight away!! My real job is a Senior Sister at my local hospital, so card making is a great way to relax after a very busy day in the Operating Theatre.I have been on various blog teams over the years then onto craft companies. At present, I’m on the Wild Rose Studio, Lili of the Valley, Digi Stamp Boutique design teams and recently Sugar Nellie and I’m a regular freelance designer for Papercraft Inspirations magazine.
My favourite part of card making is the designing part, colouring adorable images with my favourite colouring medium of Copics and Spectrum Noir pencils plus of course gorgeous dies…and I have quite a lot! Crafting is a great way of meeting new friends too and I’m so pleased and amazed that a simple card making kit all those years ago has lead me to a great crafting community.
