Christmas Crafts for Kids: DIY Christmas Baubles

Christmas is the perfect time to get children involved in crafting and this project is a great way for your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews to get creative and in the spirit of the season. Plus, they will have their own cute character to display on the tree!

We’ve provided a free template to make these baubles super easy to make, but feel free to get creative and design your own bauble animals!

You will Need

Dovecraft Glitter Card, Coloured Cardstock, Glitter Glue

Silver Baubles

Simply Creative Gems

Paper Flowers

Dovecraft Crafters Glue, Scissors, Black Marker Pen

How to Make:

1.Use a marker to draw the reindeer’s eyes directly onto the bauble. You can use the template as a guide or you could draw your own design.

2.Cut out the template and use this to cut out the Reindeer’s antlers and ears from the glitter card. Adhere these to the bauble, followed by the Reindeer’s nose.

5.Using the template, cut out the flowers from coloured cardstock and adhere these to the bauble to make a flower crown. You could use Dovecraft Paper Flowers for this instead.

Tip - Use a washi tape or double sided tape roll as a stand whilst your bauble dries.
