How to Make an Invisible Impossible Card – Video Tutorial

We’ve been so overwhelmed by the reaction we had to our previous Impossible Card video, that we thought we’d bring you a brand new twist on this super fun card shape…

Get ready to wow your friends and family even more with the Invisible Impossible Card shape! We’ve created a video tutorial to show you how to create your own. Though it might look impossible to make, it’s actually really simple – you’ll be making lots of these in no time!

All you will need to create this card is a 5” x 7” sheet of acetate, along with some papers and embellishments. Click to watch the video here.

To create the card, cut out a piece of cardstock the same size as a guide. We drew a line lengthways down the centre of the card and then drew lines to this centre point on one size at 8.9cm and then on the other of the card 4.5cm in from either side. Layer the acetate over this piece of card and cut along the three lines that you’ve just drawn, as shown in the video. All that’s left to do is twist!

We used the Dovecraft Sweet Moments embellishments and First Edition Hey Baby papers to decorate our card, but you can pick whichever papers and embellishments you like for yours.

You can view our original Impossible Card video here.

What do you think to the Impossible Card shape? Have you tried it yet? We’d love to see, so don’t forget to share your makes on The Craft Blog and to #Trimcraft when sharing on social media!
