How
to Make
1)
With
your chosen piece of paper, draw a circle using a plate as your template. Cut
your circle out, fold in half and tear against a ruler down the centre to
create your semi circle.
2)
I have then painted the edges with metallic silver wax. Once dry, stick to the
centre of your 12 x 12 paper scrapbook layout.
3)
Cut
a 4.5cm square using Fiskars Fancy Edge Scissors – Deckle to give a distressed
effect. Again painting the edges with the silver metallic lustre. Once dry,
place your paper roughly in the centre of your page.
4)
Cut
a 5.9cm by 1.2cm strip of paper and cut out a triangle from one end to create
fishtail flag. Katie has then painted the edges with silver lustre for a
shimmering effect. Stick your flag at the bottom of the paper square and add 3D
foam under the fishtail to give further depth to the layout.

5)
Cut
out a doily from the First Edition Doily Die set and stick onto the top left
hand corner of the square. Using the First Edition Tag die set, cut out two
tags and tuck one under the square at the bottom left hand side. Place the
other one on top of the paper square in the bottom left hand corner.
6)
Place
your photo onto a piece of card and trim to size. Place roughly in the middle
of the paper square. I have decorated the photo by adding a die cut heart to
the top left hand corner of the image and finished with a Sweet Paris mini
ribbon bow. I have then die cut the phrase ‘I do’ and layered on top of the
image to coordinate with her wedding theme.
7)
Decorate
your layout by creating a twine circle border around the scrapbooking
centrepiece, keep in place with craft glue.
I have then embellished the twine border with paper flowers, adhesive
pearls and dies cut keys from the First Edition Lock and Key die cut set using
silver mirror card. Silver mirror card has been added to some of the flowers
and die cut keys.

8)
I have added a shaker box to the card. To make, die cut the oval frame from the
Belle and Boo steel die set with patterned paper. Do the same with two pieces of foam. Using your oval frame, draw the oval onto the same patterned paper,
cut out and stick onto your scrapbook layout. We have added ours to the bottom
right hand corner of the photo.
9)
Layer
one oval foam frame on top of the oval patterned paper. Die cut some small
hearts and add into the centre of the foam frame with sequins.

10)
With
the oval steel die, draw a rough shape onto a piece of acetate and cut out. Glue
the acetate on top of the foam and make a lid using the other foam frame. Cover your foam frame with the oval die cut paper patterned
frame and paint the edges with gold lustre to match the sequins within your
shaker. Finish with a die cut heart and paper flower.
