Simple Stamped Card Tutorial using First Edition Markers

You will Need

First Edition Markers – Lemon 38, Fuchsia 48, Lilac 33, textured cardstock

Dovecraft Serendipity stamp set and sentiment stickers, 5x7 card blank, white cardstock

How to Make

1.  Stamp the flower from the Dovecraft Serendipity stamp set,  5 times onto a

12 x 17cm piece of white cardstock, some can be half off the paper to give a fuller look to your design. Colour the flowers in using the First Edition markers, in different colours.

2.  Stamp 3 extra flowers on a separate piece of white cardstock. Colour your flowers in with the same colour you are going to layer them on and cut out.

3.  Adhere two of  your flowers to the card using 3D  foam pads to add dimension, ensure to leave space in between for a sentiment topper. Cut the third flower in half and stick to the bottom of the card using 3D foam pads.

4.  Add the ‘Best Wishes’ sentiment to the centre of your card, towards the left hand side.

5.  Mat and layer your card on to a 12.5 x 17.5cm  piece of First Edition textured cardstock using foam pads.

6.  To finish, layer onto your 5x7 card blank with double sided tape.

We weren’t lying, it really is that simple! There is such a lovely variety of Dovecraft stamps you can use for your makes, how do you like to use stamps in your crafty projects? Make sure to upload your inspired makes to the project gallery.
