3 Easter Projects using the First Edition Animal Die Set

We all love a chocolate treat during the Easter Holidays and if you’re baking with those crafty fingers, find out how to adorn your yummy makes with these adorable bunny cake toppers.

Bunny Cake Toppers

You will Need

First Edition Animal die set, Textured card stock

Dovecraft Serendipity bows

Cocktail sticks 

How to Make

1.Die cut 6 bunnies from the First Edition Animal die set, onto First Edition Textured Cardstock. We have used pink and white card for our make.

2.Add a bow to each bunny from the Dovecraft Serendipity collection.

3.Add a cocktail stick to the back of your bunny with double sided tape leaving enough of the stick showing so it will stand up in a cake; hide the stick with another bunny cut-out. 


Bunny Bookmark

Craft the sweetest bookmark for the Easter Holidays, you wont be able to resist this little bunny peeping out of your book!

You will Need

First Edition Animal Die Set, Textured Cardstock, 8x8 Pretty Posy Paper Pad

Dovecraft A4 Cardstock, Serendipity bows

How to Make

1.Cut a 4cmx20cm strip of Dovecraft White Cardstock. Next, pick a Pretty Posy design and cut a 3.5cmx19.5cm strip of your chosen paper and adhere to the centre of your white cardstock.

2.Die cut your bunny from the First Edition Animal die set onto First Edition Textured Cardstock. Glue the bunny onto the top of your bookmark and add a Dovecraft Serendipity bow to the rabbit to finish.


Easter Bunny Card

Craft a sweet card for a friend this Easter with this adorable repeat bunny pattern!

You Will Need

Dovecraft 5x7 Card Blank, A4 White Cardstock

First Edition Animal Die Set, Textured Cardstock

How to Make

1.Cut out a 16.5x11.5cm rectangle of Dovecraft white card stock. With your card portrait, die cut 2 rows of 3 rabbits horizontally.

2.Cut out six 8x3.5cm rectangles of blue and pink First Edition Textured Cardstock. Alternate the colours and stick to the back of your die cut sheet using double sided tape.

3.Cut a piece of 17.5 x 12.5cm blue First Edition Textured Cardstock and adhere to the 5x7  card blank.

4.Cut a piece of 17x12cm pink First Edition Textured Cardstock.  Use foam tape to layer on top of your card blank to add dimension. Ensure that it is glued down to the centre of the blue card.

5.Use foam tape once more to stick your die cut bunny topper to your card.
