How to Make

1.  Measure 7.5 cm from the top of kraft card blank and draw a line across the card where it is marked.  Draw two diagonal lines from your line to the top of the card and cut along each line to create a triangle for the roof.

2.  Cut a 9.9cm x 12.5cm piece of Dovecraft Bright Spark paper to stick to the bottom of the card blank with double sided tape.

3.  We have then cut a piece of the multi-coloured striped paper to 12.5cm x 10cm x 10cm triangle to stick on the roof. Cut a piece of the pink square paper to 1.7cm x 3cm to make a small chimney for your house and stick to the left hand side of the roof.

4.  With textured card stock, die cut the long rectangular window and cut in half to make two smaller windows. We have then cut two pieces of the pink square paper to 3.7cm x 3.5cm and glued to the back of the die cut windows. Stick the windows to the card.

5.  To make a door for your card, cut a piece of textured card stock to 5.2cm x 3.6cm and curve one side to create the door. Stick to the bottom of the card, making sure it is central to the card.

6.  We have then die cut the window boxes in the green and pink card stock. Cut out the flower heads from the cut pink window box and glue on top of the green flowers.  Stick a window box to each side of the door and glue with the heart and swirl scraps from your pink card stock on top of the window box. To finish, die cut the cat and add to the right hand side of the door.

7. As a finishing touch to your card, stick adhesive pearls in varying sizes to the flowers and add a single pearl to the door to create a handle.

4.  To decorate, we have added a 16 cm piece of white lace to the bottom of the house and created two layers by overlapping the lace on the card. Finish by wrapping some twine around the house and feeding a metal key to the front before making a bow. Stick the papercraft house to the centre of the card using strips of foam tape.

5.  Stamp the words ‘New Home’ using the alphabet stamps and cut both words separately. Add above the lace using foam pads. Die cut the heart shaped key hole with kraft card and stick above the stamped text.
