it on top of the chevron paper.

How to Make
1. With your Dovecraft 6” x 6” kraft
card, pencil a mark 6.2cm from the left
and 6.5cm from the right hand side of the card, this will leave 2.5cm in the
middle of the card on the score line. Make a vertical 4cm cut where your marks
are, horizontally score the top and bottom, this will create the pop up section
of your card.
2. Add another kraft card blank to
the outside to cover the pop up hole.
3. Cut a piece of sky blue textured
card stock to 15cm x 15.1cm to cover the card. Remember to cut around the pop
up section to allow the paper to fit. Stick this to the inside of the card.
4. To create a sun for your scene,
cut a circle with yellow textured paper using the circle punch. Stick to the
left hand corner and cut off the access. Add five thin 2.8cm x 0.4cm strips of
yellow textured paper to create rays and stick to the outside of the circle.

5. Cut five clouds using the Fiskars
cloud punch with First Edition white textured card stock and stick them to the
blue paper. One cloud has been layered on top of the other clouds using foam squares.
6. Cut one piece of green textured
card stock to 6.2cm x 4cm and cut it to create the blades of grass. Stick this
to the left side of the pop up section. With another piece of green card, cut
to 6.5cm x 4cm and again, cut it to create the grass effect. Stick this to the
right hand side of the pop up section.
7. Cut a piece of twine to 33.5cm,
placing it on your card so the ends wrap over to the top corners, use double
sided tape to keep the ends in place. Glue the twine which is on the pop up
section to keep it in place. Stick bunting flags onto the twine and add the
matching bunting onto the other side. We have then cut a third piece of green
card to 8cm x 4cm and cut it to make the grass. Stick this to the front of the
pop up section and finish by adding the first layer decoupage image of Boo
holding a balloon and stick to the centre of the pop up section.
8. We have picked the pastel green
polka dot paper from the Belle and Boo paper pad and
cut it to 15cm x 14.8cm and cut around the pop up
section so it fits the base of the card.

9. Stamp the sentiment ‘Sending Hugs’
onto a 4.2cm x 6cm piece of square paper. Once dry, stick to the back of a
patterned oval frame and add to the base of the card.
10. To decorate the outside, we have
used the same green polka dot paper and cut it to 14.9cm x 14.8cm and stuck to
the card with double sided tape.
11. To finish, we have added a 20cm
piece of twine diagonally across to the front and added five bunting pieces t
on top using foam squares on the top and bottom of the triangles.
