Meet the Team- Nikki Holt- Commercial Development Manager

It’s time for you crafters to meet the wonderful Nikki, our Commercial Development Manager! Find out more about her fast paced role, how she likes to get creative and what she’s currently collecting in her free time… (Retro lovers will be a big fan of this!)

How long have you been at Trimcraft?

Almost a month, I started with Trimcraft at the beginning of June.

What is your job role within the company?

My role is Commercial Development Manager and I work very closely with our fantastic retail partners and in-house Product/ Design team to bring innovative and exciting new products to market.

What is your favourite Trimcraft product, why?

I adore our First Edition Paper Pads – we have a great selection of designs, styles and themes. These cover a number of trends and my personal favourites include Paradise Crush, Wildflower and Pick & Mix – they’re colourful, fun and inspire you to get crafting! I also love our Washi Tapes and the multitude of designs available.

What is an average day like at Trimcraft?

I start my day answering emails and catching up with team. Being home based, it’s great to visit the office and spend time being immersed in the Creativity. I love working in such an exciting industry – I count myself very lucky.

What’s the best thing about working for Trimcraft?

It’s great being able to work in such a creative and inspiring environment. This, combined with the enthusiastic team and our drive for success makes for great results!

What are your favourite hobbies?

Most of my spare time is spent with family, close friends and my beautiful niece Lily. I love all things “food” and enjoy cooking or baking at home for friends; along with the occasional meal out. I also have a real passion for music, I recently started to collect vinyl and love spending weekends trawling record stores for retro finds!

What's your favourite part of working within a team?

Trimcraft has a family-orientated vibe, and with coming into a new business this has been pivotal in “settling-in”. Everyone is passionate to succeed and so welcoming – a great team ethos!

What inspires you to craft?

The ultimate people pleaser, I love seeing the reaction from friends and family when I have baked a cake or crafted a personal card. I don’t get to craft or bake as often as I’d like, so when I do get the opportunity, I truly switch off and enjoy it!

What 3 words would best describe you?

Bubbly, Dynamic, Creative

If you had a million pounds how would you spend it?

Apart from buying a beautiful house to home a ridiculous walk-in-wardrobe (think Carrie Bradshaw), I’d treat my family and go on the holiday of a lifetime. I’d also re-train as a florist!

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us?

I LOVE Karaoke and enjoy a good sing-song… this wouldn’t surprise family and friends as I’m never quiet or far away from a good tune!

Hi Nikki, great to 'meet' you and find out all about your role at Trimcraft. I also have a collection of vinyl records, years ago I used to visit record fairs and snap up lots of interesting vinyl, coloured, shaped and picture discs too :)
