How to Make

1.Cut a piece of First Edition Paradise Crush paper down to 12cm x 17.5cm, adhere to your Dovecraft 5x7 kraft card blank with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape.

2.Find the heart diecut with the border to punch out holes from your First Edition Heart die set and diecut it onto a variety of 8x8 Paradise Crush sheets.

3.Cut thin strips of alternating paper to thread through the holes.  Once you have threaded the strip around the entire heart, adhere the ends to the back with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape. To alternate your design, leave a few of the hearts without a threaded element.

TIP – For a different look, wrap the paper around the edge of the heart as you thread it through the holes.

4.Cut a piece of twine for each heart, ensuring that it’s long enough to fit the length of the card. Adhere the twine to the back of each heart with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape.

6.Add foam pads to the back of the hearts to adhere to the top of the card.

TIP – Add two layers of 3D foam pads on some of the hearts to add dimension to the card.

7.Pull all of the twine together, and adhere the ends to the bottom of the card with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape. Ensure to make the twine loose so you achieve a floating balloon effect.

8.Stamp the ‘Best Wishes’ Dovecraft clear stamp sentiment onto a piece of coordinating Paradise Crush paper. One dry, cut out and adhere it to the bottom of the card, ensuring to place it over the twine, using 3D foam pads.
