It's almost Valentine's Day and what better way for us to celebrate than with another selection of our monthly Free Papers downloads?
This month's free download is inspired by our love for sushi - our treat lunch of choice here in the Trimcraft office! Whether it's cruchy tempura shrimp, a fresh avocado sushi roll, or a simple miso soup... wait a second, what were we talking about? All we can think about now is sushi!
If you're looking for a way to make a pun-filled Valentine's card for your soy-mate, or just send a little love to your wasa-bae - these cute patterns and co-ordinating toppers are definitely worth adding to your crafty stash.
Need some inspiration? Here's some cards we made with these papers!
For our first card, we layered a piece of the pink sushi paper onto a white 5"x7" card, leaving a small white border round the edge. This was topped with a strip of the salmon paper, and finished off with fussy cut toppers from the topper sheet. The You're Soy Amazing! sentiment was backed with another of the patterned papers in this download set.
The second card is super simple - we cut two panels of patterned paper to cover both front panels of a tri-fold card, then topped with four fussy cut elements from the topper sheet to make this easy, colourful card.
The last card looks a little more complicated - but it's still super easy! Starting with a Dovecraft 5"x7" Window Card, we layered strips of the heart patterned paper onto the back of the window. The You Make Miso Happy! sentiment was fussy cut from the toppers sheet and adhered onto the strips in front of the window. Two more strips of the salmon patterned paper were then adhered to the front of the card, which was finished off with lots of fussy cut elements from the sushi patterened paper, adhered with foam tape for dimension. Simple, but super cute!
