Paper chains are a relatively mess-free, quick activity and this festive chain will look great as a decoration in your home, Christmas party venue, or even your office this festive season! Our paper chain is decorated with adorable illustrations of candy canes, snowy houses, Christmas trees and more for a colourful Christmas look. Download your template below to get started!

This is also a really fun craft to do with kids – you could turn this into a fun game of who can make the longest chain! Depending on how long you want your chains to be, print out as many sheets of our template as you like.

 

You will Need

Free template

Scissors or Paper Trimmer

Dovecraft Crafters Glue or Perma-Fix Tape

 

How to Make

1.Print out your free download and cut each of the paper chain strips out.

2.To begin your paper chain, you’ll need to make your first link. Take one of your strips of paper and make this into a loop, securing it at the end with double-sided tape.

3.Thread another link through the inside of your loop and adhere the ends together as before. Repeat this step until you’ve used all of these strips of paper and you are left with a colourful, fun paper chain!

Now you have your finished paper chain! You could make a super long chain to deck the halls with, or lots of smaller chains!
