What is your job role
within the company?
My job role is to make samples & projects to
showcase Trimcraft products; these can be for our trade emails, magazine
features, shows, social media or the website. I also test new
products that are in development.
What is an average day like at Trimcraft?
I usually start the day by looking on the forum to read new
posts and look at the lovely inspiration that has been uploaded to the
gallery, then I check my emails to see if there’s any last minute samples
needed making for that day. The rest of the day is spent making projects and
What’s the best thing
about working for Trimcraft?
I love seeing the product development designs and
images on the office walls, created by our lovely designers being turned
into the beautiful papers, collections, stamps and dies and of course
getting to play with all of the lovely new products that we have.
What's your favourite
part of working within a team?
I work with a lovely team of very creative people who all
get on so well and give each other help and support when it's needed.
What is your
favourite Trimcraft product, why?
I can't pick one product; it’s usually what I’m working with
at the time so it changes a lot. I love the First Edition papers, these are so
pretty. The collections like Willow are so nice to craft with as all of the
products work so well together and the dies are great addition to the Trimcraft
product range. I think my favourite die, so far has to be the doily
die. I've used it a lot and go back to it time and time again!
What has been your
proudest achievement at Trimcraft?
I am always proud when I see my projects in magazine features or when I
have spotted my projects used on in store signage at national craft
stores. It is always really nice to see people liking and commenting on my
projects on the Trimcraft social media saying how beautiful they are.

I love any kind of crafting, but paper craft is my
passion. My other hobbies are cooking and walking. I like to raise
money for charity by doing charity walks and selling my cards.
What inspires you to
I get inspiration from social media and the forum; I see a
card shape or project and think I must try that. I also get inspiration
when I’m shopping, I see things I could make myself and items that I could buy
to alter or decorate.

If you had a million
pounds how would you spend it?
If I had a million pounds my first priority would be my
children, other family members and I’m sure my husband would like some sort of
posh car. I would like a holiday to a beautiful destination. I would
also give some to charity, one of the charities being The Alzheimer's Society.
Tell us something
about yourself that would surprise us?
I have a level 3 diploma in floristry.
