DIY Lipstick Tote Bag Tutorial

To kickstart our fabulous DIY month, we thought we had to show you how you can use the glamorous Dovecraft Kiss and Makeup lipstick stamp to personalise a plain tote bag!

This illustrative stamp paired with the First Edition Markers really makes this accessory stand out from the crowd. The added glitter glue really makes the lipstick designs twinkle and lets be honest, who doesn't love a bit of sparkle?

What you Need

Dovecraft Kiss and Make up Clear Stamps, Black Ink

First Edition Markers

Dovecraft Glitter glue

Tote Bag

How to Make

1. Place a piece of card stock into the tote bag, ensuring that it's as big as the front of your tote bag.

TIP – This will stop the ink from the First Edition Markers staining the back of the bag.

2. Stamp the lipstick design from the Dovecraft Kiss and Makeup Clear Stamp set all over over the bag, ensuring to stamp it in different angles to add interest. Leave to dry.

TIP- The clear stamping block will help you be able to position your stamp better. Test out how much ink you should use on to a piece of card, to make sure you're happy with how dense the colour is.

How fab does this tote bag look?! You could use a variety of colours on the stamps or leave the stamp design in its' natural state to give it a minimal look.

This Clear Stamp collection features a range of funky designs that would look really cool on bags, tshirts or on papercraft projects.
