How to Make
1.
Paint the metal tin with DecoArt Americana
Décor Chalk Finish Lace Paint to give it a good base for painting the bright
colours on top.
2.
Once dry, paint sections of the tin in
different DecoArt Patio Paints. We have used the carnation pink, coastal surf
and summer lilac.

3.
When the patio paint is dry, add a few layers
of light satin varnish allowing them to dry between coats.
4.
With a wooden tag, stamp the text ‘Garden’
using the Dovecraft Alphabet Stamp set. Once the tin and wooden tag is dry,
wrap the SANTORO®'s Willow jute around the top of the
tin and feed the metal key charm and wood tag through the twin before tying the
bow.
Project 2: I’m in the garden sign

What You Will Need
Dovecraft Bohemian 12” x
12, 6” x 6” paper pad, wooden elements and gems
First Edition Alphabet Die
Set
A 14.5cm square thick grey
board
Jute String
How
to Make
1. With a piece of the Dovecraft Bohemian 6” x 6” green damask paper, cut a 14.5cm square and stick to the grey board.
2. Cut a piece of the floral border
paper into a 14.2cm square and layer to the centre of the grey board to create
a border effect.
3. Make two holes at the top of the
sign and feed a piece of jute string through the holes. Make a knot on each
side and cut the excess off.

4. To decorate the centre of the
floral border paper, we have die cut the text ‘I’m in the garden’ and stuck to
the centre of the sign using a small amount of glue.
5. We have then added a bird wooden
shape to the bottom right of the text. Cut various flowers from the Flower Die Set using the pearlescent peacock paper and stick them to the bottom of the
sign then embellish the centre with purple gems and pearls. To finish, we have
cut two butterflies from the front cover of the 12” x 12” paper pad and added
next to the text.
